This paper examines the physical and psychological affects that stress has on peoples lives. This paper discusses the different ways that an individuals life can be either positively or negatively affected by stress. A reasonable level of stress allows a person to grow psychologically. This growth can also occur by major stresses. Major stresses may cause an immediate breakdown in an individual. The coping process will see the individual come to terms with the cause of the stress, with the end result being personal growth.
